A triple-trailer 18-wheeler rolled on icy U.S. Highway 95 at Esmeralda County milepost 19.
The co-op observer at Spring Valley State Park measured 6 inches of snow.
A man was killed when he lost control of his vehicle on a wet road.
The co-op observer at Mt. Charleston (7600') measured 36 inches of snow.
As the offices recorded each death: direct deaths were caused by the weather itself, indirect ones by something it set in motion.
