Mountain areas did not fare so well, with peak reports coming in from lower elevations.

Several trained spotters as well as WFO Great Falls measured total snowfall in excess of 6 inches. The peak observation for the event was 11.5 inches 7 miles SSE of Ulm.
Two reports were received with storm total amounts in excess of 6 inches, including a peak report of 9 inches 3 miles S of Bozeman.
