A late morning and afternoon southeasterly low-level jet developed as well. Decent mixing and downslope/mountain wave effects led to gusty winds and several wind damage reports in Westmoreland, Fayette, and Indiana Counties. Wind gusts reached as high as a reported 61 miles per hour.

A light glaze of ice accretion was noted on trees in the area based on webcam imagery.
Reports of downed trees were received from Ligonier, Derry, and St. Clair Townships.
A wind gust of 61 MPH was measured at Connellsville Airport at 1:15 PM. In Woodside, a pool was blown on to a deck. A roof was blown off of a mobile home in Smithfield, while part of a roof was blown off of a house in Uniontown. Several trees and wires were reported to be blown down in Uniontown as well.
Multiple trees were reported to be blown down across the county, with a concentrated area of trees on wires just east of Indiana.
