Widespread dense fog reduced visibility to one-quarter mile or less across much of Western Kentucky for the overnight and early morning hours, mainly along a line from Fulton to Owensboro. The dense fog formed in the vicinity of a surface trough of low pressure extending northeast to southwest across Western Kentucky.
