Periods of moderate to heavy lake effect snow accumulated to between 3 and 8 inches, heaviest inland near Paw Paw Lake. The heavy, wet nature to the snow led to some downed tree limbs and brief power outages. Roads become slick and snow covered in heavier snow bands, with reports of accidents and slide-offs in the area. School delays and closings were also reported.

Localized heavier snow totals were observed, including a report of 13.1 inches 4 miles north of Buchanan. Visibilities were reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in heavier snow. The heavy, wet nature to the snow led to some downed tree limbs and brief power outages. Roads become slick and snow covered, with reports of accidents and slide-offs in the area. School delays and closings were also reported.
