The Idaho County Sherriff's Office reported low visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow on US 95 over Whitebird Hill and advised citizens to stay home if possible. US 95 was closed over Whitebird Hill due to an accident.

The Idaho County Sherriff's Office reported low visibility in snow and blowing snow in the Grangeville area and encouraged citizens to avoid unnecessary travel. Chains were recommended for travelers heading for Whitebird Hill. Six inches of snow was observed in Grangeville.
