Isolated early Sunday morning thunderstorms rumbled northeast across far western sections of south central Nebraska. The thunderstorms produced very heavy rain and hail to the size of quarters. The most prolific hail producing thunderstorms resulted in nickel size hail covering the ground west of Arapahoe.
