Primary storm system moved across southern Canada during Thursday, December 6th. Gusty winds occurred with passage of the associated cold front during the morning and early afternoon. A number of locations reported wind gusts over 34 mph (30 kts). A few wind gust reports included: In St Lawrence county, Canton with 46 mph (40 kts) while Massena had 44 mph (38 kts). In Clinton county, Plattsburgh had 39 mph (34 kts) while in Essex county Saranac Lake reported 37 mph (32 kts). In addition, scattered power outages were reported in Malone located in Franklin county.

BEFORE COLD ADVECTION BEGINS.  KMSS ALREADY BROKE ANOTHER MAX
TEMPERATURE RECORD TODAY (OLD RECORD WAS 61F IN 1998)...KBTV (63F IN
1982) AND KMPV (60F IN 1982) MAY BE IN JEOPARDY AS WELL.  MAIN BULK
OF MOISTURE WITH CYCLONE PIVOTING TO OUR NORTH WILL SPLIT NORTH AND
