During the month of March average rainfall for Puerto Rico was 1.28 inches. The normal rainfall islandwide for March is 2.59 inches. This represent a 50% less from the normal rainfall. The areas most affected were the north and the northern interior sections of the island. Rainfall deficiency over the southern sections of Puerto Rico was slightly below normal.
