Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph occurred along and behind a strong cold front. The wind gusted to 45 mph at 1932E at the airport near Clarksburg. At the Elkins airport, the wind gust was 43 mph at 2011E. A tree fell on a car along Taylor Ave. in Elkins. Power outages occurred to about 2,500 customers.
