Thunderstorm winds estimated at 65 to 75 mph downed trees and large limbs throughout the county. At least 20 trees were downed in Corry. A house in Corry was slightly damaged by a tree and two cars were crushed by fallen trees.

Up to three inches of rain fell early in the evening causing flooding on roadways and in low lying areas. Two cars were trapped in four feet of water underneath a railroad viaduct near the intersection of East 15th Street and Paradise Street on Erie's east side. Two people inside one of the vehicles had to be rescued by firefighters. Officially, 2.99 inches of rain fell at Erie International Airport on the 29th.

Thunderstorms dumped up to two inches of rain in less than an hour. Flooding was reported on many streets in Meadville with water up to two feet deep in some locations. Several cars were briefly stranded by the high water.
