A SKYWARN Spotter reported a wind gust to 64 mph in Fort Washington. This cluster of thunderstorms that moved through Southeast Pennsylvania produced around 5,000 cloud-to-ground strikes of lightning. PECO Energy reported about 64,000 homes and businesses lost power in their service area between Midnight and 4 a.m. EDT. Several thousand of the outages were in Montgomery County.
