The occlusion from a strong low moving north over the Alaska Peninsula moved over the western Alaska Range and before dissipating brought strong south winds near Alaska Range Passes. Highest winds reported were:Healy gust to 53 mph; Delta Junction ASOS gust to 50 mph.
