November 15, 1916, 06:31:33 local time, Near Puli, Taiwan Province, 24 N, 121 E, magnitude 6. 97 houses completely collapsed, 200 half collapsed and 772 were damaged. One person was killed and 20 were wounded. The quake was felt in the whole island. (reference #3939)
