The 1751 event is reported to have caused considerable damage to the island and the Turkish coast opposite (reference #4700)
1751 Jun 18, Samos. There was a damaging earthquake in the region of Kusadasi in Turkey and in the eastern part of the island of Samos [...] Another contemporary document confirms that on this date many houses were destroyed in the island of Samos, causing great losses, which were aggravated by the plague which followed in September. It is not known how far away the shock was felt. (reference #9116)
