THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR Mankato and surrounding towns.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

At 746 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cleveland, or
14 miles northeast of Mankato, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Le Sueur, northern Blue Earth and southeastern Nicollet
Counties, including the following locations... Skyline, Oshawa,
Mankato Airport, St Thomas, Lake Jefferson, Ottawa and St Henry.
