The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
  District Of Columbia
  Western and Central Maryland
  Central Pennsylvania
  Northern Virginia
  Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia
  Coastal Waters

* Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 220 PM until
  1000 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
  Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
  Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible

SUMMARY...Clusters of thunderstorms will move across the mountains
into the watch area this afternoon, with damaging winds and hail
possible in the strongest cells.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 85
statute miles east and west of a line from 65 miles east southeast
of Elkins WV to 25 miles northeast of Williamsport PA. For a
