...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTING CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY...

At 1249 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Lakewood, or
near Jamestown, moving east at 25 mph. Additional thunderstorms were 
located from near Westfield to Sinclairville.  

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Westfield, Lakewood, Silver Creek,
Falconer, Mayville, Long Point State Park, Jamestown West, Chautauqua
Institution, Lake Erie State Park, SUNY Fredonia, Frewsburg,
Chautauqua, Busti, Portland, Sheridan, Stockton and Gerry.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between exits 60 and 58.
 Interstate 86 between exits 7 and 14.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
