This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorm will continue tonight, some
storms may be strong to severe with hail, gusty winds and heavy
rainfall being the main hazards. Localized minor flooding is
possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

Thunderstorms are possible Monday through Thursday. There is a
risk for a few severe thunderstorms Monday, especially across
northwest Nebraska. Later outlooks will evaluate the threat for
severe storms the remainder of the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter are encouraged to relay any severe weather report to the
National Weather Service in North Platte.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN COUNTY...

At 1114 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Maxwell, or 12
miles southeast of North Platte, moving east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible near the storm and areas
surrounding the storm due to outflow from the storm.

Locations impacted include...
North Platte, Brady, Maxwell, Wellfleet, Lake Maloney State
Recreation Area, North Platte Airport, Keith, Cottonwood Canyon State
Wildlife Management Area, Hansen Memorial Reserve State Wildlife
Management Area, Jeffrey Canyon State Wildlife Management Area,
Vroman and Somerset.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 97 near mile marker 1.

At 1139 PM CDT/1039 PM MDT/, a strong thunderstorm was located 8
miles west of Mullen, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Mullen, Seneca, Whitman, Carr Lake, Highway 97 crossing the Dismal
River, Hire, Cogill Lake, Hecla, Kelso and Weir.

This includes the following highways...
