The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern McPherson County in west central Nebraska...

* Until 900 PM CDT.
    
* At 817 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Tryon, moving southwest at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southeastern McPherson County.

 Highway 92 between mile markers 194 and 210.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 23 and 34.

SOUTHEASTERN MCPHERSON COUNTY...
    
At 830 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles southwest of Tryon, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
west central Nebraska.
