* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Prowers County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northern Bent County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until midnight MDT.

* At 852 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have 
  already fallen with the heaviest rain having fallen along and 
  south of highway 50 and in the Caddoa area. Flash flooding is 
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lamar, Las Animas, Wiley, McClave, Hasty, John Martin Reservoir,
  Blue Lake, Fort Lyon and Caddoa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

NORTHWESTERN PROWERS AND NORTHERN BENT COUNTIES...

At 932 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen with the heaviest rain now falling between McClave and Lamar. 
Flash flooding is expected to continue.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lamar, Las Animas, Wiley, McClave, Hasty, John Martin Reservoir, Blue
Lake, Fort Lyon and Caddoa.
