The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Edwards County in south central Texas...
  North central Real County in south central Texas...

* Until 530 AM CDT

* At 226 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Over 
  three inches of rain have already fallen in the warning area and 
  additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is expected to 
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rocksprings, Devil's Sinkhole State Natural Area, Us-
  377 Near The Kimble-Edwards County Line and Us-277 Near The Sutton-
  Edwards County Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
