The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
West central Kerr County in south central Texas...
Northeastern Real County in south central Texas...
* Until 1245 AM CDT
* At 1039 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the northeastern part of Real and southwest
portion of Kerr County. Two to three inches of rain have already
fallen according to Doppler radar. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.
* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southwest
Kerr and northeastern Real Counties.
Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in
these areas the next several hours.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
