The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
  Northeastern Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* Until 200 PM MDT.

* At 113 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles east of Clines Corners, or 29 miles northwest
  of Vaughn, moving north at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado. 

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely. 

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern San Miguel and northeastern Torrance Counties.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 224 and 234.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM MDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN SAN MIGUEL AND NORTHEASTERN TORRANCE COUNTIES...
    
At 124 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles east of Clines Corners, or 30 miles east of
Moriarty, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. 

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely. 

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern San Miguel and northeastern Torrance Counties.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 225 and 233.
