THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...INCLUDING DAMAGING WINDS
AND SHORT-LIVED TORNADOES IS INCREASING THIS AFTERNOON. THIS IS FOR
AREAS MAINLY SOUTH AND EAST OF AN AMERICUS TO MACON TO MILLEDGVILLE
LINE. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTH GEORGIA THROUGH EARLY THIS EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAIN WILL ACCOMPANY THE STORMS...PRODUCING AN ADDITIONAL 1/2 TO 1
INCH WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS UP TO 2 INCHES. MINOR FLOODING OF LOW
LYING AREAS...ALONG WITH CREEKS...SMALL STREAMS AND POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS CAN BE EXPECTED.

FLOOD WARNINGS REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR SEVERAL CREEKS AND STREAMS
ACROSS METRO ATLANTA.
