  Thursday. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday evening.
* At 17.0 feet...Minor flooding continues to expand into fields...
  woodlands and pastures near the river. The water level is very 
  close to Ward Road on the right bank. Flood waters will be 
  approaching irrigation systems and they may need to be moved to

* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage early Thursday and continue 
  to rise to near 13.2 feet Thursday afternoon.The river 
  will fall below flood stage by Friday morning.
* At 13.0 feet...Minor flooding continues to expand into the 
  woodlands...fields and pasture along the river upstream and 
  downstream from the gage on Gees Mill Road in Rockdale County. Most
  of Sockwell Road by the river in Newton County will be flooded with
  up to 4 feet of water. Minor flooding also occurs in Newton County 
  in the Riverside Estates Travel and Trailer Park. Any trailers near
  the river may need to be moved to higher ground. A playground by 
  the river will begin to flood.

  ramp and small parking lot on the upstream and right bank side of 
  the Georgia Highway 136 Connector will be under at least 8 feet of 
  water. Flood water will begin to fill in low areas near athletic 
  fields at the Harris River Park on Mauldin Road.

  agricutural areas upstream and downstream from the gage on U.S. 
  Highway 80. The flood waters will be around 4 feet deep on Rex 
  Miller Road and Old River Lane. Several homes on these roads will 
  be under two feet of water. Also a few homes on River Ridge Road 
  will be flooded with a foot of water. Portions of the Riverview 
  Park Golf Course will be flooded.

* At 21 feet...Significant flooding continues in the woodlands and 
  pastures upstream and downstream from the gage on U.S. Highway 280.
  The lower portion of the access road to the boat ramp on the 
  Wheeler County side of the river is flooded. Around a dozen homes 
  on Dead River Road in the south end of Montgomery County become 
  flooded.  Portions of Dead River Road will be covered by at least 3
  feet of water.

STATIONARY FRONTAL BOUNDARY REMAINS POSITIONED ACROSS CENTRAL
GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON. LUCKILY...MOST OF TODAY HAS BEEN DRY.
REGIONAL RADAR HAS PICKED UP A FEW LIGHT SHOWERS ACROSS THE FAR SE
CWFA...BUT TOTAL QPF HAS BEEN VERY LIGHT.

A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE ACROSS THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO WILL MOVE
NORTHEAST ALONG THE BOUNDARY OVERNIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. ACCOMPANYING
THIS LOW WILL BE ANOTHER ROUND OF WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS. THERE IS A FEW HUNDRED JOULES OF CAPE
PRESENT...MAINLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 85 CORRIDOR. WILL
KEEP THE THUNDER IN MAINLY AFTER 06Z WEDNESDAY THROUGH EARLY
THURSDAY MORNING. EVEN THOUGH SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
ANTICIPATED...SUB SEVERE STORM WINDS WILL BE CAPABLE OF UPROOTING
TREES DUE TO THE SATURATED SOILS.

THE MAIN HAZARD ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL BE THE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL. IN GENERAL...ONE TO THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL IS
ANTICIPATED ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE INTERSTATE 85 CORRIDOR. LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE WHERE STORMS REPEATEDLY TRAIN. EVEN
THOUGH AMOUNTS ARE NOT LARGE THROUGH FRIDAY...THE SOILS ARE
SATURATED AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAINS WILL CREATE RUN-OFF. IN
ADDITION...SEVERAL CREEKS/STREAMS/RIVERS REMAIN ABOVE FLOOD STAGE
AND THE ADDITIONAL RAINS WILL PROLONG THE ONGOING ISSUES.  HAVE

HI-RES MODELS ARE PROGGING THE AXIS OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL TO
DEVELOP ALONG THE INTERSTATE 85 CORRIDOR AFTER 06Z WEDNESDAY...AND
THEN SHIFT SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE DAY. FROM RUN TO RUN...THE AXIS HAS
SHIFTED SOUTHWARD.

WEST SOUTHWEST WITH A SECONDARY DISTURBANCE MOVING ALONG THE GULF
COAST FRIDAY. MODELS DIFFER IN THE NORTHWARD EXTENT OF THE
MOISTURE ON FRIDAY WITH THE GFS THE FURTHEST NORTH. WILL CONTINUE
WITH CONSISTENCY AND LEAN TOWARD THE ECMWF SOLUTION WHICH BRINGS A

A COLD FRONT WILL STALL ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA TODAY. THIS COLD
FRONT WILL BEGIN MOVING NORTH AS A WARM FRONT TONIGHT AHEAD OF THE
NEXT STORM SYSTEM THAT WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION LATE TONIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY. THERE WILL BE ENOUGH INSTABILITY TO PRODUCE A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA TODAY...AND ACROSS NORTH
