AREAS AFFECTED...ERN KS...SERN NEB...WRN MO...FAR NERN OK

CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 194...

VALID 272307Z - 280100Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 194 CONTINUES.

A BAND OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES TO RAPIDLY MOVE NEWD ACROSS
KS AND INTO SERN NEB. SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS THAT MOST OF THE
ACTIVITY IS NOW ALONG OR N OF THE WARM FRONT...WITH ONLY A VERY
NARROW WARM SECTOR REMAINING OVER SERN KS AS THE DRYLINE ADVANCES
EWD.

VISIBLE IMAGERY SHOWS A SHALLOW CU FIELD OVER SERN KS WITH BILLOW
CLOUDS OVER SWRN MO AND ERN OK. HERE..CAPPING IS HAMPERING
DEVELOPMENT...AND VERY DRY AIR AND SUBSIDENCE EXISTS ALOFT.

HOWEVER...SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS EITHER SLIGHT LIFT OR AN END TO
THE MIDLEVEL SUBSIDENCE NOW MOVING EWD ACROSS NRN OK. AS THIS
FEATURE ROTATES ENEWD ACROSS THE NARROW WARM SECTOR AND WARM
FRONT...SOME ENHANCEMENT TO LIFT MAY OCCUR. BUT...IT MAY COME TOO
LATE FOR SURFACE BASED DEVELOPMENT...RESULTING IN A FEW ELEVATED
HAIL STORMS INTO WRN MO. CONDITIONALLY...SHEAR PROFILES ARE VERY
FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS IN THESE AREAS.
