IS BEING COORDINATED FOR THIS AREA WITH WFO TULSA AND SPRINGFIELD.
THE SEVERE THREAT ASSOCIATED WITH THE LINE IS EXPECTED TO LAST FOR
SEVERAL MORE HOURS.
A STRONG QUASI-LINEAR CONVECTIVE SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY LOCATED FROM SE
KS SSWWD ACROSS ERN OK ALONG AN AXIS OF INSTABILITY WHERE MUCAPE IS
ESTIMATED IN THE 250 TO 500 J/KG RANGE. IN SPITE OF THE WEAK
INSTABILITY...STRONG DEEP LAYER SHEAR IS PRESENT WITH WSR-88D VWPS
IN NE OK SHOWING ABOUT 70 KT OF 0-6 KM SHEAR. THIS COMBINED WITH 60
TO 70 KT OF FLOW NEAR 850 MB SHOULD SUPPORT A SEVERE THREAT MAINLY
