VALID 140740Z - 140845Z THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 163 CONTINUES. NEW TORNADO WATCH MAY BE REQUIRED ACROSS PORTIONS OF NERN OK/SERN KS. BROAD CORRIDOR OF WEAK WARM ADVECTION APPEARS TO BE PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE OF THUNDERSTORM CLUSTERS ACROSS THE NRN HALF OF OK. THIS ACTIVITY IS GRADUALLY LIFTING NEWD AS LLJ STRENGTHENS FROM N TX INTO KS. SEVERAL EMBEDDED SUPERCELL STRUCTURES PERSIST WITHIN THE LARGER COMPLEX OF CONVECTION AND DESPITE A GRADUAL TENDENCY FOR A STRENGTHENING CAP IT/S NOT ENTIRELY CLEAR THAT THE UPDRAFTS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY ELEVATED AND ARE LIKELY DRAWING INFLOW AIR WITHIN A NEAR-SFC BASED ENVIRONMENT. FOR THIS REASON IT APPEARS ISOLATED TORNADOES REMAIN POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER SUPERCELLS. GIVEN THE NEWD SHIFT TO TSTM CLUSTERS LATEST THINKING IS CONVECTIVE THREAT IS DECREASING SOUTH OF I-40 AND NEW DEVELOPMENT WILL LIKELY BE CONCENTRATED ACROSS NERN OK SPREADING TOWARD SERN KS/SWRN MO. ..DARROW.. 04/14/2012 ...PLEASE SEE WWW.SPC.NOAA.GOV FOR GRAPHIC PRODUCT...
