THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 337
CONTINUES.

THE SEVERE THREAT ACROSS THE ERN PART OF WW 337 MAY EXPAND EWD
ACROSS SE MO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. LARGE HAIL AND ISOLATED WIND
DAMAGE WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE MORE INTENSE LINE-SEGMENTS. WW
ISSUANCE MAY BECOME NECESSARY ACROSS SE MO AND NRN AR OVER THE NEXT
HOUR.

AN MCS LOCATED FROM NEAR LEBANON MO EXTENDING SWWD TO JUST SOUTH OF
JOPLIN MO WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ESEWD INTO SE MO AND FAR NRN AR. THE
STORMS ARE LOCATED ALONG THE NRN EDGE OF MODERATE INSTABILITY WITH
MESOANALYSIS ESTIMATED MLCAPE VALUES RANGING FROM 2000 TO 3000 J/KG.
IN ADDITION...A 30 TO 40 KT JET AT 700 MB IS ANALYZED JUST BEHIND
THE MCS IN FAR NE OK. THIS FEATURE ALONG WITH A POCKET OF STRONG
INSTABILITY IS LIKELY PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR AN ISOLATED WIND DAMAGE
THREAT WITH THE MCS. THIS THREAT MAY DEVELOP EWD ACROSS SE MO EARLY
THIS AFTERNOON. THE STRONGER CORES WITHIN THE MCS MAY ALSO CONTAIN A
THREAT FOR LARGE HAIL.
