CONCERN EXISTS FOR AN INCREASE IN A TORNADO POTENTIAL WITH STORMS
MOVING NWD INTO CENTRAL/ERN GA THIS AFTERNOON. LOCAL AREAL
EXTENSION OF WW 839 MAY BE NEEDED SOON.
TRENDS IN REGIONAL RADAR IMAGERY DURING THE EARLY-MID AFTERNOON AND
LIGHTNING DATA INDICATED AN INCREASE IN TSTM DEVELOPMENT ACROSS NRN
FL AND SRN GA WITH ACTIVITY TRACKING GENERALLY NWD. THIS INCREASE
IN COVERAGE APPEARS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH AN INLAND FLUX OF HIGHER
THETAE THROUGH SRN TO CENTRAL GA. THE INCREASE IN MOISTURE COMBINED
WITH ADDITIONAL SURFACE HEATING THIS AFTERNOON HAS RESULTED IN A
MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIR MASS /MLCAPE 1000-2000 J/KG/. EFFECTIVE
BULK SHEAR IS ALSO INCREASING ACROSS CENTRAL AND NRN GA WITH VALUES
