THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LABETTE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS

* UNTIL 700 AM CDT

* AT 235 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED ANOTHER ROUND OF 
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH 
INTO LABETTE COUNTY. THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING 
RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF 
HOURS. 

THIS AREA HAD ALREADY EXPERIENCED FLOODING EARLIER LAST NIGHT AND 
CAUSED A FEW HIGHWAYS TO CLOSE. RIGHT NOW...THESE HIGHWAYS HAVE 
REOPENED...BUT THESE ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL ONLY AGGREVATE 
THE SITUATION AND CAUSE ADDITIONAL FLOODING.   

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING...OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS ROADS COVERED BY WATER.
