* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  VANCE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 130 AM EDT

* AT 1130 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA.

  SLOW MOVING STORMS ARE OVER CENTRAL VANCE COUNTY. HEAVY RAINS OF
  AROUND 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE.

   DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS... ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THIS
   IS THE NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF WEATHER RELATED FATALITIES IN NORTH
   CAROLINA.
