THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN ANSON COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 115 AM EDT

* AT 1110 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA.

  RADAR INDICATES THAT NEARLY STATIONARY STORMS OVER SOUTHERN ANSON
  COUNTY NEAR MORVEN... AND MCFARLAN COULD RECEIVE UP TO 3 INCHES OF
  RAIN IN ONE HOUR. THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACRoOSS THE
  SOUTHERN SECTION OF THE COUNTY.

  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS... THIS IS THE
  NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF WEATHER RELATED FATALITIES IN NORTH CAROLINA.
