THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME SOUTHERN RICHMOND COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 1030 PM EDT

* AT 828 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY
  HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA.

  WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN MAY
  OCCUR OVER AREAS IN AND SOUTH OF ROCKINGHAM AND HAMLET. THESE
  STORMS HAVE LITTLE MOVEMENT.

  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS AS IT IS THE
  NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF FATALITIES IN NORTH CAROLINA. NIGHT TIME IS
  THE WORST TIME FOR THESE FATALITIES AS IT IS THE HARDEST TO SEE
  THE FLOODED ROADWAYS.
