THE MIDLAND-ODESSA NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  ECTOR COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 830 PM CDT

* AT 741 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED A
  TWO DIFFERENT THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO OVER
  ECTOR COUNTY. ONE STORM WAS LOCATED 8 MILES WEST OF PENWELL...
  AND THE OTHER STORM WAS JUST NORTHEAST OF ODESSA. MOVEMENT WAS
  TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS IN THE PATH OF THESE TORNADIC STORMS INCLUDE...    
  PENWELL...WEST ODESSA AND GARDENDALE.

STRONG ROTATION WAS INDICATED IN BOTH OF THESE STORMS. THE FIRST STORM
WAS MOVING OUT OF THE ODESSA AREA BUT THE SECOND STORM COULD EVENTUALLY
MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST AND AFFECT ODESSA LATER THIS EVENING.

LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING THUNDERSTORM WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH
THESE STORMS.
