IN EAST NEW YORK ...COLUMBIA COUNTY...EASTERN GREENE COUNTY AT 655 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF JEFFERSON HEIGHTS. THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE NEAR - JEFFERSON HEIGHTS AT 700 PM. ATHENS AT 705 PM. STOTTVILLE AT 715 PM. 5 MILES EAST OF COXSACKIE AT 725 PM. KINDERHOOK AT 735 PM. VALATIE AT 740 PM. THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF LARGER THAN DIME SIZE HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. IF YOU LIVE IN COLUMBIA OR EASTERN GREENE COUNTIES BE PREPARED TO TAKE COVER.
