IN EAST NEW YORK ...COLUMBIA COUNTY AT 415 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTHEAST OF TIVOLI. THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE NEAR - TIVOLI AT 420 PM. 5 MILES SOUTH OF CLAVERACK-RED MILLS AT 450 PM. 5 MILES SOUTH OF PHILMONT AT 500 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
