THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 140 AM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN EAST CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

   ...GUADALUPE COUNTY
 
AT 1235 AM MDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED IN THE SANTA
ROSA AREA. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND 15 MILES AN HOUR
AND PRODUCING NICKEL SIZE HAIL.

WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENVCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS
PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
