000 TTAA00 KCLE 081659 SVRCLE OHC007-081745- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 100 PM EDT THU AUG 8 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 145 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN OHIO ...ASHTABULA COUNTY AT 1257 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE CITY OF WAYNE IN ASHTABULA COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL MOVE SOUTH OF THE CITY ANDOVER AND POSSIBLE MOVE OVER PYMATUNING LAKE. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
