000 TTAA00 KCLE 082026 FFWCLE OHC117-082230- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING AND FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 424 PM EDT THU AUG 8 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING UNTIL 530 PM AND A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN OHIO ...MORROW COUNTY AT 420 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS OVER MORROW COUNTY. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY GUSTY WINDS...HAIL... DEADLY LIGHTNING AND DOWNPOURS HEAVY ENOUGH TO CAUSE FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
