THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

   ...MARION COUNTY
 
AT 406 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS WITH
HEAVY DOWNPOURS NEAR THE CITY OF LA RUE. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES ABOUT
2.0 TO 2.5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN 3 PM AND 4 PM. THESE STORMS WERE
MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. BASED ON THE DOPPLER RADAR THE NWS EXPECTS
SERIOUS FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR OVER THE NEXT 3 HOURS...ESPECIALLY OVER
THE WESTERN HALF OF MARION COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
