THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      CUMING

AT 612 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 25 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF NORFOLK...ON THE STANTON-CUMING COUNTY LINE JUST NORTH OF
HOWELLS.  THE TORNADO WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

AREAS FROM JUST NORTH OF HOWELLS TO THE WISNER AND BEEMER AREAS
ARE UNDER THE POSSIBLE PATH OF THIS TORNADO.

TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY...GET TO A BASEMENT IF PO;SSIBLE.  OTHERWISE
GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND
MOBILE HOMES...TAKE SHELTER IN A REINFORCED BUILDING.

 A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA UNTIL 9 PM.
