THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      MADISON...WESTERN STANTON

AT 345 PM CDT THE MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED A TORNADO ON
THE GROUND 3 MILES WEST AND 11/2 MILES NORTH OF THE TOWN OF
MADISON.  THE TORNADO WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT AROUND 25
MPH.

THE WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF MADISON...NORFOLK...STANTON
AND AREAS IN BETWEEN.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR C>ULVERT.
