THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      STANTON

AT 530 PM SPOTTERS REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE GROUND 4 MILES NORTH
OF CLARKSON.  THE TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTH AT ABOUT 15 MPH.

PERSONS NORTH OF CLARKSON TOWARD STANTON SHOULD TAKE COVER
IMMEDIATELY.

TAKE SHELTER IMMEDIATELY...GET TO A BASEMENT IF POSSIBLE.  OTHERWISE
GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  ABANDON CARS AND
MOBILE HOMES...TAKE SHELTER IN A REINFORCED BUILDING.

 A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTHEAST NEBRASKA UNTIL
 9 PM.
