THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      MADISON

AT 312 PM CDT A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORT 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
BATTLE CREEK...OR 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK.  ANOTHER FUNNEL
CLOUD WAS REPORTED 5 MILE SOUTH OF NORFOLK.  THE THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING THESE FUNNEL CLOUDS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT
20 MPH.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE S	HELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
