THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A URBAN AND SMALL 
STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 245 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN 
THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
      GUILFORD

A CHECK WITH THE SHERIFF DEPARTMENT IN GREENSBORO INDICATED THAT
FLEMING AND SPENCER-DIXON ROADS WERE CLOSED BECAUSE OF KNEE-DEEP
WATER AND THE BUFFALO CREEK WAS OUT OF ITS BANKS AT I-70 AND
THE RAILROAD TRUSSEL. ALTHOUGH THE RAIN IS TAPERING OFF...FLOODING
WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

 PEOPLE IN GUILFORD COUNTY SHOULD DRIVE WITH CAUTION. DO NOT ATTEMPT
 TO CROSS WATER OVER ROADWAYS.

 IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES..GO TO A SAFE PLACE IMMEDIATELY
 AND TAKE SHELTER.  ASK YOU LOCAL SHERIFF OR POLICE TO RELAY YOUR
 SEVERE WEATHER REPORT TO THE LOCAL NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE.
