000 TTAA00 KMSP 300809 SVRMSP MNC129-127-300835- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 309 AM CDT WED JUL 30 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 335 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...WESTERN RENVILLE AND WESTERN REDWOOD AT 300 AM A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR EXTENDED FROM EASTERN SWIFT COUNTY THROUGH CENTRAL CHIPPEWA COUNTY INTO CENTRAL YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA. MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS WAS TO THE EASTSOUTHEAST AT 50 MILES AN HOUR. CITIES AND TOWNS INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE OLIVIA...REDWOOD FALLS...AND WALNUT GROVE. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNIZNG..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. RICHARDSON
