THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL MINNESOTA...EASTERN YELLOW MEDICINE..EASTERN CHIPPEWA AND
KANDIYOHI..INCLUDING THE CITIES OF WILLMAR..CLARA CITY..AND GRANITE
FALLS.

AT 3 00 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS
ADVANCING SOUTHEAST AT 55 MPH. AT 3 00 AM CDT THE LINE EXTENDED FROM
CENTRAL CHIPPEWA COUNTY SOUTHWEST TO YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY.
NUMEROUS REPORTS OF WINDS GUSTING TO OVER 60 MPH HAVE BEEN RECEIVED
AS THIS LINE MOVED SOUTHEAST AT 55 MPH.

LARGE HAIL..DAMGEROUS LIGHTINING..HEAVY RAINFALL..AND DAMAGING WINDS
CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. 

REMEMBER THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING SO BE ON THE LOOK OUT.
