000 TTAA00 KRST 301252 SVRRST MNC157-109-169-301330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ROCHESTER MN 752 AM CDT WED JUL 30 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...SOUTHERN WABASHA...EASTERN OLMSTED AND WINONA THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF EYOTA..PLAINVIEW..ST CHARLES AND WINONA. AT 740 AM 68 MPH WINDS WERE REPORTED BY CIVIL DEFENSE IN TNE CITY OF ROCHESTER AND STRONG WINDS WERE ALSO REPORTED IN PINE ISLAND NORTH OF ROCHESTER. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 35 MPH. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL ..VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. AMANN
